One day in our little evolving emerging boat shop Builder’s Bean & Kyle found that one key feature of Design Engineer Tom’s novel “Boom Gallows” for the new Rafter sailing version could not be made with the equipment we had on hand.  So we gave a buzz to neighbor Harry who taught shop at the local HS for 40 years or so and who most likely had the type of tool needed to make the sharp angle cut.  Well we had a lot of fun visiting him at his home shop and with a bit of custom tool fiddling we accomplished the two cuts!  That inspired an upgrade to our own shop with follow on purchase of the tool needed.

We are a small emerging boat shop but we have a lot of expertise with a combined total of about 50 years of industry experience and we collaborate well when needed with our tech’ and biz suppliers and partners.
